Claudia Bretschneider
Counsellor, Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Quantum Healing Facilitator and Yoga Practitioner

From my beginnings in Switzerland life has taken me on my own journey of discovery. I began studying yoga under well known Yogi Salvarajan Yesudian and Elisabeth Haich at the age of 15. My training in counselling and psychotherapy began in 1995 working in a psychiatric hospital in Switzerland. I worked at Atma Shakti Vidyalaya, a progressive centre treating people with a variety of mental health issues in India and I moved to Australia in 1998 and completed a Bachelor of Social Science in Applied Counselling at Edith Cowan University and a Graduate Diploma in Transpersonal Psychology at the Crucible Centre. I have various additional diplomas in Yogic Science and teaching as well as Zen Shiatsu and Reiki. In the past years I have worked in various Community sectors across Australia. I provide support for Employees (EAP) and in addition, Counselling and Psychotherapy is available for clients living overseas.

As people are becoming increasingly more aware of the interconnectedness of the mind, body and soul and the importance of having a healthy relationship with themselves in order to improve relationships with others, their is a growing trend to include therapy as a means of self-discovery and self-care, along with quantum healing, yoga, meditation and so on.
